Who We Are
Seaquaria is committed to creating opportunities for youth to explore our world and take steps needed to protect it. We deliver hands-on environmental education programs in classrooms and on field-trips. Our programs put a special emphasis on “place-based” learning by show-casing local species!
Our Projects
Creatures as Teachers
Seaquaria’s animal ambassadors educate youths and community members about the local biodiversity of our coastlines. Along with our human educators, our ambassadors create opportunities that allow students to explore local coastal ecosystems intimately.
Programs
Seaquaria is most well known for our “Seaquarium” program. We install saltwater aquaria stocked with local species to give students a piece of nature inside their schools. We also offer a variety of programs suitable for students from preschool to high school.
